At a meeting of the Board of the Xew Zealand Trotting Association today it was decided that, in future no horses imported into New Zealand shall be handicapped unless duly certified particulars of all their placed performances (if any), and the conditions under which the same were registered, are supplied at the time of nomination. Nieol, who is now Pres jJent of the New Zealand Trotting Conference, was for a number of years Vice-President of the New Zealand Trotting Association, and at to-mgi s meeting of that body his former colleagues presented him with a solid __ silver cigarette case as a mark of their appreciation of his services. The presentation was made by Mr P. Sell* (President of the New Zealand Trotting Association).
