(Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, Feh. 7 Tho Daily Mail’s Dublin correspondent states an attempt to blow up and capture Dublin Castle was frustrated. Emm apparently the innocent premises of St Monica’s Babies Home in Worburgh Street, a tunnel was discovered leading to the upper Castle yard. If completed, it would have enabled the rebels to take tile garrison in the rear. The caretaker of the Home, Mrs Mackay, was arrested and a large quantity of ammunition and a land mine was discovered. A young woman arrived during the search and her bag contained parts of a machine gun. SEEING RED. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, Feh. 7 A Free State patrol joined a dance in Kilmakoweu, County Sligo, and other Free Staters who were passing were fired on. Thinking the shots came from the hall room they machine gunned the building- 1,10 *' ree Staters replied and a long exchange of shots ensued. Hundreds ot bullets crashed into the hall. The dancers lay on the floor, the women ing. Three were wounded before the misunderstanding was discovered.
