ROME. Jan. 10. The Italian Premier. Signor Mussolini. ill a speech to the Cabinet, declared that lie had advised Prance to limit, as far as possible, the military character of her action in the Ruhi. lie also advised her not to shut the door upon the possibility ol an agreement. which Italy believed possible, and for which she was working. He declared that no Entente formed for the purpose of securing peace iti Europe could succeed without the participation in it of Britain, and he expressed the opinion that France would piSlbahly vet view favourably the Italian plan "for the Reparations, which he had presented in London. ROME, Jan. UL The Foreign Ministry announces that the Italian Government has offered to mediate between France and Germany. Italy’s proposals embrace an economic control of the Ruhr and a commercial alliance with Germany. Italy is anxious the alliance should not he anti- j British in any way. ;
