The bride, who was given away by her brother, Air .John O'Meara, looked charming in an exquisitely made white crepe tie chine I rock, with panels of lace and silver beaded trimmings, and wearing a handsomely embroidered ve it, the gift of her sister, St M. Augustine, of I’etone Convent. She also carried a heaiitilul shower bouquet. She was attended by her sister, Miss (lort-ie O’Meara, who wore a beautiful dress of apricot: crepe do chine with gold heads and a black iiaL with apricot streamers, also carrying a bouquet. The bridegroom was attended by M. 11. Higgins, cousin of the bride. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the I’ovd Father Fogarty, who also performed the wedding ceremony. The happy couple left the church to the strains of the ‘‘Wedding March played by the bride’s cousin. Miss f.. Higgins." After the ceremony, the wedding breakfast was served at the residence of the bride’s parents, where the usual toasts were honoured. Mr and ATrs Holley left by car for Nelson, cn route to the North Island, where the honeymoon will he spent, the bride travelling in a smart navy costume and hat to match.
