The Victoria Insurance Company was cited as a third party. For the defence it was stated that plaintiff’s father had maintained him since the accident, paid his expenses and given him money. The case was heard by the Arbitration Court, which stated that it could find no justification for inferring that nln in tiff had any actual proprietary interest in the farm. Pig-hunting was necessary for tho safety of the sheep, and was regarded as part of the work of a. sheep farm. The pig-hunting expedition on December 29. 1921, did not seem to have been undertaken merely for sport, although the element of sport was present. The court, however, felt that nothing more than a nominal award was necessary. Judgment would he given for plaintiff for compensation as from June 29th.. 1922. in weekly payments of Id to continue for the remainder of the period of liability or until ended by the Court. Plaintiff was allowed £l3 13s costs.
