COMMITTEE MEETING. The Committee of the above Club met at the Club room at 9 o’clock last night. Present: Messrs AV. E. Williams (chair). .McGregor, Rutland, AYhiley. Peake. McTntosh. The Treasurer's statement in regard to tint late race meeting, showed receipts £4395. and expenditure. £4622, a deficit of £226. The Government taxation totalled £1604. The statement 4T was adopted aiid the accounts passed for payment. Votes of thanks were pas-ed to the ladies for assisting with the tea rooms, and to Air AA . H. Batson for undertaking the duties of clerk of the course at: short notice. The Municipal Band "rote stating in view of the noil-financial success of the A late meeting, no -payment would ho expected. The letter was received with thanks. Messrs Neville.- Stafford. Brodie, Simpson aiul Davies were elected members of the Club. It was resolved to add to the accommodation. ol the* outside booth lor the Easter meeting, and to enlarge the main refreshment room accommodation for the Christmas meeting. The stakes for the Easter race meeting were fixed at £750. an increase ot \ £sl) on last year’s programme. Ibe following are the events proposed. Trial Handicap. 6 fur. £*o; Hurdle Handicap.
