A Conskhvative View. Curiously enough, Mr Holland and his following are anxious to see the Till ('nils join up with the Government. Wo say curiously, because it seems to us that once that union is consummated, the Labour Party’s chances of reaching the Treasury Benches will he very appreciably reduced. The country will then be divided into two great camps—anti-Labour and Labour. And it is clear from an examination of the aggregate votes polled by the parties at the late election, that there is an overwhelming body of public opinion which refuses to have anything to do with the Red policy or its expositors. — l The Christchurch “Sun.”
