The following itinerary for the tour of the American athletic team through New Zealand is announced:—December 30th. arrive from San Francisco, Jail 6, Wellington; Jan. 10. Ashburton; Jan 13. Christchurch; Jail 17. Invercargill; Jan 20. Dunedin ; Jan 24, Palmerston North; Jail 27. Gisborne; Jan 20. leave Gisborne for Rotorua ; Feb. 3, Auckland; Feb 7. Hamilton; Feb 10. Wanganui; Feb It. New Plymouth ; Fob 17. Wellington; Feb 21. Mastertoii ; Fob 24. Auckland; March 1. leave for Vancouver. WELLINGTON, Dec IS.

At a meeting of tho New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night, it was decided to offer Masterton February 20th, in lieu of the 21st, for tinvisit of the American athletes, the latter date being People’s Day at the Agricultural Show. Auckland Centre wired suggesting the cancellation of the team as Ray Thompson and Paddock were out of the team. A reply had berm sent, that this could not be done. Hamilton was given till January oth in increase its guarantee to £SO. and other centres, which have not yet nipliecL are to lie asked to reply immediately. Arrangements are to he made, if possible, for a day to be given to Cambridge. Auckland lmving suggested this, but it was decided that Auckland’s guarantee could not lie reduced thereby.

It is proposed to hold the New Zealand championships at Dunedin, iin Saturday. March 3rd., it. being considered impossible to arrange them during the visit of the American athletes. Two gold medals have been offered for Australasian records lirokeo on the .Masterton track.

X.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS. DXEDTN, Dee. 18. The New Zealand Amateur Athletic Championships will he held in Dunedin on January 20th. 1021 in conjunction with tlie visit of tho American learn, the members of which will compete at this gathering.
