lIARI HART STORE SALE. On Friday last at the above yards Afossrs W. Jeffries and. Co. held their usual sale of store stock, the yarding consisting of 109 bond of . cattle and several horses. The attendance was representative of South Westland, and while* no outstanding lines of cattle were entered, competition was however equal to that recorded at other Yards, .and prices correspondingly as good. A noticeable feature of the sale being the improved prices paid for young stock. The following sab's were recorded. On account of Mr J. Burnside. 4 dry cows at £3 ss; on account Air D. Graham. 4 heifers at £5, 4 calves at £2 ss. 12 heffc-rs at £3 15s; on account Airs Robertson. 3 dry cows at Co, two 18-inos steers at C2 14s; on account Air T. Ford. 1 heifer at .£0 Gs, 2 dry cows at £4 17s fid, 4 at £3 12s Gd ; on account Air C. Authem.mii, 1 lieroford bull at £5 15s; on account Mr T. Foster, 2 2-yr. steers at £4 2s Gd. 2 ditto heifers at £3 ris Gd. I stag at £4 2s (id; on account Airs Soar]©, 1 steer at £5 12s fid; on account Air J. Alancra, 23 steers at £5 (12s, 1 heifer at £3; on account Mr Roeskr. 7 drv cows at £2 10s ; oil account Air Johann Hondo. 1 .Shropshire rani at £5 ss, 1 lialf-hred ram £2 10s. WATAROA SALE. Oil Saturday afternoon the same firm held a special sale of store- stock for the convenience of the South settlers who were unable to attend the early Spring fix turn. The yarding comprised qitO fat sheep .and 157 herd of fat cattle.
