Blue Spur School.

(From a correspondent). A very pleasant function was held at liliie Spur Hall .on Friday evening .the occasion being tin- presentation of tlio school prizes, and also a magnificent ’.Yma.s tree. The Chairman, AJr E. T. Shc-rrilf, spoke on behalf of the School Committee in high praise of Afiss llarcourt’s work during tho year, and three hearty cheers were given for her. Items were rendered as follows :—Opening “God Save the King,” school pupils, “Silvei Fern”; song by Afiss L. Sherri IF, “Annie Laurie”; song by Aliss M. Olson, “Blue Bird”: “Dancing Bear” by school pupilssong by Air AlcQuilkan, comic song; ’Afr Surgeon,) “Hornpipe”: song by Miss K. Olson “Let the rest of the AVer Id go by”; duet, “Afeditation” Alisses J. and E. Sherriff; song by Amelia, Sherriff, “Whose Baby are you” “That’s AA'-hat God made mothers for”; Song by Aliss Lucy Hnrcourt. “Dear Tattle Mother o’ Aline” ; school pupils. “Harvest Dance” (encore) ; song by Afr J. AA r right, Reofton, “Tabby Cat.” After tin- concert concluded, games, community singing and dancing were indulged in. Then they all sat down to a very dainty slipper which was provided by the ladies. Dancing was recommenced and continued to the small hours of the morning.
