Lloyd, and Gray, arrived at Hamilton on Saturday and played an exhibition sot and one double against the local 1 dies. Unfortunately rain fell in the morning and early in the afternoon consequently th play was delayed until four o'clock, and the smfnco of the courts was slippery, which elf’-tod the play somewhat. Aliss Lane and Airs l.ascellcs played splendid shots with speed and certainty. Aliss 'Lance’s forehand and the accuracy of Airs Lascelles' backhand play brought many rounds of npplnu.se. In the singles Aliss L'liee heat Afrs Lascelles 0-1. 0-1. In the doubles Aliss Lloyd and Aliss Gray (visitors) defeated Aliss AfcCrnekoii and Aliss Wilkinson (Hamilton) 6-2, 6-0.
