THOUGHTS FOR THE TIMES.
ATumohiai, Trees. The Minister of Instruction in Italy has ordered the * public authorities to plant 500,000 trees, to commemorate the number of Italian soldiers killed in the war. Each tree will hear a table giving the name, rank and details- of service to the one killed . The Alinister suggests that cities and large towns lay out parks and smaller places avenues.
