A meeting of the provisional . committee in connection with the Wcstlaiid ilihmond Jubilee Exhibition, was held last night at the County Chambers. Present: Messrs Perry, Wild, Butler, Jeffries, Davidson and Evans. The meeting discussed various aspects of the financial proposals, and both Messrs Jeffries and Butler supplied interesting information of late interviews in -Christchurch which afforded much interesl. indicating the valuable nature of the support to be given from that qutti'tffi-, as also from the Department of Industries, Trade and Commerce.
