Air Bonar Law in the Commons said in withdrawing Lord Lindley, the Government did not act in concert with the question on its merits. He thought the Government took tile right action. Questioned whether the Government had made any representations to prevent Childers execution or to make representations to prevent further executions, Mr Bonar Law answered in the negative.
