j ARAIIURA FAT STOCK SALE. ! The fortnightly fixture at the above ! yards was held yesterday, when the 1 yarding comprised 60 head of fat cattle, 12 fat sheep and 36 hoggets. The j attendance of buyers was not quite so large as that of the previous fixture but competition was keen throughout save . for tho last three pens of bullocks. Prices were equal to those of the last two fixtures, the quality being equal to the genera] entries of the last two months. Fat sheep also sold well. Messrs AY. Jeffries and Co., sold as follows :—On account P. Heslan, 42 fat woolly sheep at 35s 6d, 36 woolly hoggets at 255, and privately 28 ewes and wethers at 30 3d, and 25 shorn wethers "-ethers at 31 6d. On account Mr H. Gardiner, 2 light cows at £6; on account Mr AV. Ritchie, 1 steer at £8 10s on account Air M. Boyle 1 light heifer jat £5. On account Mr D. Roberts i 2 heifers at £8 2s 6d, 3 do. at £7 7s 6d, 2 do. at £7 ss, 4 do at £7 2s 6d. and 3 do. at £6 10s. On account Mr G. Ferguson 2 prime bullocks at £ls 10s, 2 do. at £l2 2s 6<l, 2 do. at £ll 15s, 2 do. at £ll 2s 6d, 2 do. at £lO 7s 6d 2 do at £9 15s, 2 .do. at £9 12s fid. 1 do. at £9. 3 do. at £8 12s 6d, 3 do. at £8 10s. On account Air Jas D. Afackay, 2 bullocks at £ll 2s 6d, 11 at £lO 10s, and £3 at £lO. Air Wlll. Diedrichs 4 heifers at £7 12s (kl; 2 cows at £6, 2 vealers at £2 10s, 3 bullocks at £lO 7s Gd, 1 at C 7,2 at £lO 7s Od. 1 cow at £7 15s, 1 sucker at £4 10s; on account of All- P. At the above Sale yesterday our entry comprised 115 fat sheep, 23 fat lambs and 45 head of fat cattle. There was a good attendance of buyers and at the commencement prices realised were on a par with those of the previous fixture, but showed an easier tendency towards tho close of the sale. Prime medium weight cattle sold exceedingly well at late rates, hut heavy ox were much lower. Fat sheep were again very dear. We sold on account of Air W. Diedriehs, 51 shorn sheep at 325; on account of All- AY. Thomson, 12 lambs at 21s, II at 21s 3d. 4 sheep at 255; on account of Air J. Sims, 64 fat woolly sheep at 355. 6d; on account of H. N. Adamson. 3 bullocks at £ll. 2 at £ll 10s, I heifer at £lO ss. 1 bullock at 8 12s Od, 3 heifers at £9, 1 at CIO 10s. 2 at £lO 2s fid. 2 id £9 2s fid. 3 at £9 10s; on account of Air \A r . R. Adamson ] heifer at £lO 17s fid, I cow at C 8 2s fid; on account of Tl'o Xmas sale at the above yards was fixed for Wednesday, December , 22m1, at 9.30 a.m. sharp.
