Mr J. I). Lynch, the Progressive AYest Coast candidate, visited Ivokatahi and Iyoiterangi yesterday. He addressed the electors at the latter place last evening. Air A. Little occupied the chair. The candidate explained his views as an Independent candidate and a>lthough one of the oldest supporters of the Reform Party, long before many of the later day advocates, he claimed independence of action in the interests of the Coast. He declined to be a servile follower of any Party in power. A vote of thanks was carried on the motion of Mr F. Wall, seconded by Air De Phillipi. MASSEY’S CAMPAIGN.
