MR SEDDON IN THE NORTH

On Thursday Air Seddon had three splendid meetings in the Like Brunner district. During tile day he spoke at both Aratika and Kotuku, and in the evening at Aloana. Air Arthur Robinson M.C.C., presided at the latter meeting and after the speech two returned men, Alessrs .J. Symes and G. Sheldon, moved the vote of thanks and confidence which was carried. On ATondny, Air Seddon visits Callaghans, and speaks at Goldsliorottgh and Stafford. AVELLINGTON, Nov. IS Mr AVilford had a most enthusiastic meeting last night when be replied to Mr .Massey at Lower Hutt. The hall was crowded. With regard to Mr A[asse.v’s statement of the number of times Mr AVilford has voted with the Labour Party, lie pointed out that there was only one “no" lobby, and anyone who wishes to vote against the Government bad to go into it. It was no evidence of an allowance. Air Alassey’s and Air Holland’s followers had voted in the same lobby against preferential voting and against the appointment of a New Zealander as the Director of Education, but that did not no evidence of an alliance. Air AlasHe denied there was any alliance between his Party and Air Holland’s. The meeting concluded with a heart\ vote of thanks and confidence.
