“The Sign on the Door” Channing. Pollock’s successful melodrama, with Norma Talnindga in the leading role is the principal attraction on Monday next at the Princess Theatre. The picture is tho ideal feature attraction, being in plot one of the most logical aiul well constructed dramas evet‘ written. The. role of the misjudged, wife, \vho. .successfully takes ,t)ic blame for a., murdei; hoy shoulders that she may shield her husband, is one of the best .that Miss Ta-lniadge has ever had. ft gives this talented star an opportunity for the display of her emotional acting and also presents her in a most sympathetic part. In the supporting cast, is Charles Richman and Lew Cody, both stars in their own right.. “The Sign on the Door” is a melodrama in which a man is killed and the police attempt, to discover who did the deed. Both the husband and wife confess that .they did the shooting although the wife is not guilty. How circumstantial evidence' supports the wife’s claim, frees her from punishment since she states that she fired the shot to protect her honour and save her bus band makes an interesting and thrilling story. Also by special arrangement. with J. C. WiHiapison, Samuel Goldwyn and Rqx Beach will present “Out of the Storm” adapted from the famous novel “The Tower of Ivory” by Gertrude Ather.ton. “0ut,,,, of the Storm” is an eminent, author’s .production.
