The directors of Princess Theatre Company, Ltd., have secured a speakipg likeness of l.lu> late Mr Tom Pollard prepared by Mr Ring, photographer of Greynioiirli. The photograph has been hung in the vestibule of the dress circle entrance to the Princess Theatre, as a memorial to the late Mr Pollard, who was a regular patron of the local theatre over a long term of years.
Paddy's Market will he brought to a clcse on ( ass Square to-morrow afternoon, when the sports programme will he run off, and other events of interest take place. Goods will he on sale and refreshments will be provided. Those who leave promised donations to the stalls (including refreshments) are desired to send the gifts in early in the afternoon.

A 'Wellington telegram states that Mr Justice Chapman in the Supreme Court gave judgment dismissing the Pharmacy Board’s appeal against Mr K. K. Hunt’s dismissal of the charge that Cox Gordon. not being a qualified chemist, had used the title of chemist. Gordon had several shops in Wellington, each being managed by a qualified chemist enrolled ns manager. The Judge said that an unskilled unregistered person was nrrmiited so to conduct a business by the law. which had been fully complied with in this ease.
