For the Canterbury Jockey Club’s Metropolitan Meeting, the. concluding day’s weather at the outset was threatening, and later, rain fell, followed by a cold wind. The attendance was not up to the usual standard. The totalisator investments wore £70,850, making £259,919 for the meeting, against £271,454 last year.
