arrested a young man, George Victor Clark, who was (barged this morning with arson, and remanded for eight days. ROST OFFICE BURNED. ASHBURTON. Nov 10. A lire at two o’clock on Wednesday morning completely destroyed the Alaronn.n Post Office and a residence owned by Air H. Galletly, farmer. The Post Office was a detached building. The lire started in the residence, and quickly spread. A great effort was made to save the buildings, hut to no avail. The emitnuts of the re.-idome were eompletly destroyed, but the Indie of the Post Office material was saved.
