Shipments of New Zealand produce arrived this week by the s.s. Wang.tratta, Gallic and Port Svdncv. HEMP.
.Manila is dull and weaker business is reported. . “G” grade October-De-cember shipments arc down to £SO 10s l-uycrs present, idea £3O 5s per ton. The Nov Zealand market continues to be quiet, and easier. Fair grade in dock sold at £3O 15s per ton. Consumers are taking mi interest in forward shipments, for which £32 15s for high points and £32 10 lor, fair are asked. WOOL.
The sales continue with a general and active demand. .Merinos are sellin gat extreme prices, as much as Is 5d per H> having been made for New Zealand scoured this week. Fine cross bred and medium cross-bred is firm at late" rates quoted. Prospects for next season appear good.
