NEW CONSUMPTION sanatorium. CENTRAL OTAGO CHOSEN. DUNEDIN, October 27. At a conference of representatives of the Southland, Waitaki, Maniototo, Vincent, South Otago, Wallace, Ashburton and South Canterbury Hospital Boards to-day finality was reached in the matter of a sanatorium in Cential. Otago, Dr Byers consenting to sell at £3550! The whole position was discussed, and it was decided that plans specifications and tenders be called by the joint committee and submitted to the annual meeting in February, lor the administration building. superintendent’s residence, and minor buildings, in order that the nucleus of the sanatorium may be erected next year.
