In connection with the capsize ol a dinghy containing two occupants (An drew (lartliner and his daughter Eileen) in Manakau Harbour, the oivner of a Motor boat states that while his launch was stranded on the bank a short distance away, he saw the dinghy capsize, end saw Gardiner swimming ashore with his arm around his daughter.
