POLLARD’S PICTURES. RUBY DE REMER AND LEWIS STONE. Ruby de llemcr and Lewis S. Stone divide the honours in heading the oast in “Pilgrims of the Night,” the J. [,. Frothingham production which will he shown oil Monday at. the Princess Theatre. Miss de Reiner has been starred in several productions and Mr Stone has never shared honours with anyone in a production since the popularity lie attained in “The River’s End.” The remainder of the cast bristles with the names of wellknown players. Walter McGrail, Kathleen Kirk ham, Raymond Hatton, Frank Leigh and Walter V. Moug are among those listed in prominent parts in the production. The unusual association of so many illustrious players dn the same production was made: necessary by the fadt that E. Phillips Oppenheim in writing “Passers By,’ the novel upon which “Pilgrims of the Nigh” is based, created seven characters of almost e<|iial prominence in the story. Tt is the story of a beautiful girl, brought up as the daughter of a French criminal who makes his living by running a fashionable gaming establishment and heading a gang of hank robbers who have completely Raffled the police of Paris. The latest Rathe Gazette showing news from all parts and a two-reel Mermaid comedy entitled “Moonshine” will also 1)0 shown. The orchestra will supply a capital programme.
