GREY V. WESTLAND. The representative football match between Grey and Westland for the Dittman Shield, now held by the Grey Union, takes place on Cass Square to-morrow afternoon. Thegame should prove a very attractive m*o and as the northerners are bringing down a strong fifteen there should ho .some good passing movements to watch, even if the. ground is heavy as a result- of to-day’s rain. Tho local team is a fairly strong one, and should give a good account oi itsell. As the proceeds sire being devoted to the funds of the Hokitika Beautifying Association for the purpose ol effecting further improve incuts to Cass Square, patrons have another reason to attend iu full force, and help iu the laudable intention of the Kuh-un-ion. The game will start at J p.m.
