AN EMBEZZLEMENT CHARGE. WELLINGTON, September 21. Another case of embezzlement of funds of the Education Department, has been before the Court. James Charles McGill Nitt, arrested in Sydney was charged with stealing vurious sums amounting to £272 last year. He "as clerk in the accounts section o£ special schools branch and it was his duty to attend to nil the hanking accounts and had to wit] id raw or pay in the money as the case might he.
