The Referee's report oil United-Ex-celsior match (Ur Cutbush) was received and approved. An application by S. V. Daiulo to play for Kiwi Club was received and after consideration was agreed to unanimously. "Mr Stafford’s motion to alter Rule 8 in regard to transfers was agreed To, to come into force from the end of the present season. The Secretary was instructed to send a donation of £5 to the AVcstport School Club. Cobden Club wrote asking for a match with Kiwi Juniors on Sept. Kith—Received. It was resolved that the match be approved for that date, no portion of the gate 'to be given, and to play on No 2 ground. A telegram was received from Kokatalii Club protesting against the* United match last Saturday. Mr B. Dowell asked permission to send outlie protest to the West Coast Rugby Union. Refused, being ruled out of order.
Mr T). Powell handed in the junior banner from Kiwi juniors. The United Club asked for a share of the gate next Saturday owing to their financial stringency. After discussion as this was a replayed match it was resolved to grant 25 per cent, of next Saturday’s takings. The Kiwi delegate (Mr 1). Dowell) offered to forego their share in favor of I niteds, Ur Mc.Mann.away returning thanks for the offer.
It was resolved, to open public lists for financial support to aid the West Coast Rugby Union’s team in their journey to Nelson to endeavour to wrest the Seddon Shield. The Committee then rose.
