New Zealand salted is selling at present at 208 s to 21 Os per owt. • The official quotntion#; are : —- *New Zealand—(salted) : 208s-2iOs per ewt, (Is IOJd-ls 10!d per Tb), exceptional 214 s per cwt (Is 10-Jd per lb), unsolted 216 per cwt (la lid P er French:— 2o6s-216s (Is lOd-ls lid per lb). Argentine : —2o4s-214s per cwt (Is 93d -Is IOJd per lb). Irish;—(Unsalted) 210s-216s per ewt (Is 10;',d-ls lid per lb): (salted) 194204 s ped cwt (Is 83d-ls 9ld per lb). Danish :—2lßs-220 per cwt (Is ll.Ulls 11 Jd per lh).

CHEESE. The market is slow and lower prices have been accepted. The official quotations are: —• English—Finest farmers’ 108 s 112 s per cwt (ll!d-ls per lb). Canadian—Coloured, 84s 88s per cwt (Od 9ld per lb), white 86s 90s per cwt (91, 93d per lb). The following vessels are discharging New Zealand produce this week : —Matatua, Tairon., Tckoa, and Suffolk. Casein—French rennet is quoted as £62 10s per ton.

HEMP. The Manila market was steady early this week, hecoinig weaker towards the close, with sellers quoting “G” grade August-Ovt.ober shinments at £3l 10s, and “J” at £32 per ton but no buyers. The New Zealand market is quiet, sellers quote high points August-Octo-bor shipments at £3B and fair at £3l os pci- ton. WOOL. The Bradford market has a firm tone Prices for tops are:—64’s (Merinos) 4s 9d; 06’s (super half-bred) 2s 7d; 40’s prepared (coarse crossbred) Is lid.
