An emergency meeting of the Christchurch Sports’ Club was hold to-night, and a decision to postpone the fight was made. Whitaker arrived from the North yesterday, and was .sportsmanlike, readily accepting the Club’s decision.

McCle-ary’s indisposition, according to bis medical adviser i s temporary only It is believed that a few days’ treatment wil.l set him right.
