INDIAN FRONTIER. (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) DELHI, Aug 29. Government have sanctioned the release from gaol of eight hundred Moplahs, convicted of minor offences, and unlikely to endanger the public safety. A Calicut message states the plague epidemic is subsiding, and is now confined to Moplah quarters. Up to August 242 attacks were reported, resulting in 156 deaths. The Chief Moplah rebel leader, responsible for all the trouble in Calicut district, who escaped sometime ago, has been rearrested by a party of Moplahs, who have been tracing him for the last month.

The aviators, McMillan and Malms are expected to arrive at Calcutta tonight*.

GERMAN TRADE. LONDON, Aug 28. At the famous Leipzig Fair, sellers refuse payment in marks. Meanwhile within the last few days, many heavy German orders for wool have been cancelled, British merchants expect the wool trade to suffer heavily. Bradford yarn spinners have been requested by exporters to delay delivery of yarn as German cannot pay.
