D. rill" the school holidays two football matches for the Secondary Schools Championship of the West Coast will he played in Hokitika. This week the AVestport Technical High School is sending down a team, playing Reefton and Orcvmonth on the way. This team arrives here on Friday and play on Satiy Yext week the Reefton D. School team will visit Hokitika and Play on Wednesday. Reefton' is also sending a basket-ball team of girls to piny tbe local school on Wednesday. All the visiting boys and girls are to be billeted, and arrangements have he, mi made for most of tbe players of the three teams, but as Westport having to play three matches in four days, is bringing five emergencies, AT. Houston. the secretary of tbe local school Club would he glad to hear from any of the townsfolk who would bo willing to act as hosts to these extra boys for Friday and Saturday.
