BV TELEGRAPH PRESS ASSN., COPYRIGHT. WOOL SALE. TIMARU, August 23 The South Canterbury wool-brokers held a sale of wool, sheepskins and hides to-day. There was a full bench of buyers, representative of the whole of the South Island. One Wellington buyer was also present. The sale throughout did not show the keenest, of recent sales here.
alleged libel. NAPIER, Aug 24. Before Sir R. Stout, at the Supreme Court, Helmore 'Henry Brown, assistant secretary and organiser of the Post am! Telegraph Association sought to recover £5Ol damages from the “Herald." for alleged libel. The case is proceeding.
