Ali AHTKA fat stock sale. For yesterday’s fixture at the above vards il(i fat wethers and 72 head of fat tattle were submitted to public competition to the usual attendance of buyers and though the entry exceede • the demand competition, nevertheless, was animated throughout the sale. With the exception of a couple of pens of bullocks the whole yarding was cleared at prices satisfactory to vendors. The price per hundred was on a par with that of last sale. Messrs W . Jeffries and Co. sold a sfollows _ 116 Canterbury wethers at 2<s. Un account Mr G. Ferguson two bullocks •tt £ll 2s (id, one at CIO, three at t:> 13s, three at €8 7s (id, three at £8 2s 6d. On account Messrs Sullivan tiros'., five bullocks at £9 7s 6d, three do. at £9 3s, two do. at £8 10s, twodo. at £8 7s 6d, five do. at £8 os, eight at £8 2s (id, four at £B, two at £< los, four at £7 7s 6d, two at £7 2s Gd, four at £(i 15s. one cow at £(> 17s (id, one do at £6 ss. On account W. H. Kuril bitch 1 bullock at £8 ss, two at £8 12s fld. one at £7 10s, one at £•> 17s Gd.

Messrs M. Houston and Co. report: _\t the above sale yesterday our entry consisted of 30 fat bullocks. There was a good attendance of buyers and competition was good, the yarding being cleared at prices slightly lower than those of the previous sale. Prime ox beef realised about 25s per hundred. We sold on account of Messrs Sullivan Bros 2 bullocks at £lO, 5 at £9 7s 6d, 2 at £lO, 4 at £8 ss, 2 at £7 12s 6d, 2 at £B, 2 at £8 TOs, 1 at £6 15s, 3 at £8 7s 6d, 2 at £7 10s, 3 at £7 12s 6d, 2 at £B.
