Canterbury Education Board.

The monthly meeting of the Canterbury Education Board was held at Christchurch on Friday last. Present: Mr G! W. Arrnitage (chairman), and Messrs W. A. Banks, H. J. Bignell, W. IT. Witisor, J. G. An application for a temporary appointment of an exchange teacher from Canada at a town school was held over there being no position available. It was directed that the principal head master he asked what procedure they adopted in saluting the flag to nss'ist the Board in formulating a uniform ceremony.

Painting of Blue Spur and Upper Kokatalii schools and renovating Stafford school were held over to he dealt with next month.
