POLLARD’B PICTURES. CONNIE TALMaDGE IN “WEDDING BELLS” TO-NIGHT.

A brilliant adaption of Salisbury Field’s stage play is “Wedding Bolls” starring Constance Tamadge at the Princess Theatre tonight. This feature gives the popular little star ample scope for the display of her ability and aside from the comedy situations which have been very well handled “Wedding Bells” leaves a distinct impression on the audience because of the fact that it presents Miss Talmadge in a role that has possibilities for delightful bits of the more serious brand of acting—something that a ways makes the comedy situations stand out with greater sharpness Harrison Ford, Connie’s leading man in many of her previous pictures plays opposite her as the young husband, and gives an admirable performance. On the whole the play has been capably handled. The .supporting cast includes such favourites as Emily Chichester, Ida Darling, and Janies Harrison. A Pnthe Gazette, topical and a-two reel Chester comedy, starring Snooky the clever monkey will also he shown, tho orchestra will play the incidental music The first episode of. the new serial: “Hidden Dangers” | starring Joe Ryan and Jean Paigo will be screened on Thursday 24th.
