ADDINCTON STORK MARKET. A firm market. CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. (By Telegraph.— Special to Guardian.) -Messrs H. Matson and Co., report as follows regarding their stock sale at Addington yards yesterday: Store Sheep—A small yarding mostly ewes and hoggets with a sprinkling of wethers. All classes of good, fresh sheep sold fully up to late rates. Best 6 and 8 tooth ewes to 30s 3d; sound mouth ewes 20s to 265, aged and inl'eriod 14s to 18s. Best mixed sex hoggets 13s to 17s 4d, others from 12s 6d; good forward wethers 17s to 20s. pigs—A medium yarding of baconers heavy porkers and large stores. Best heavy baconers to £5, medium to £4, best porkers to £3 6s, medium to £2 10s. Baconers per pound about six pence, pork about eight pence. Largo stores to £2, medium to 335, the market generally in this department was again easier.

Store cattle—A medium yarding and the entry rathe- nondescript. Medium 3 and 4 year steers to £5 11s, 2 year steers to £3 15s, 18 months steers £3, 2 year neifers to £4, yarding heifers to £2 15s. Store cows to £3. The market generally was brighter the outlook for good store cattle very bright.

Beef—The entry was about 350 head and quality all round very good. Best steers to £2O, good prime steers £l2 to £l6: medium steers £9 10s to £ll 15s; prime and good heifers £7 to £lO 10s; prime cows to £lO. The market for prime steers would average £2 per hundred, prime heifers 355, prime cows 32s 6d. The market held firm all dav.

Mutton—A much larger yarding and prices were down shillings on the national, but equal to sales preceding national. Best wethers to 335, medium 20s to 23s 6d, best ewes to 27s 6d ; medium ewes 16s to 20s. The market hold firm at above priees to th© finish.
