WEST COAST BEAT BULLER. WESTPORT, August 14 West Coast defeated Buller on Saturday by 5 points (a eonverted try) to 3 points (a try). The game was played on a heavy ground following continuous rain and was mainly a forward one. There was no score in the first half. Tn the second half Russell scored from a passing rush and converted the try. Snortiy after, Buller scored, Gocdall getting over, but the kick at goal failed. Buller had the best of the dosing stages, hut there was no further score. The Grey division played Inangahua yesterday and wero successful by 11 points to 8.
