The Liegfield quarter of a million dollar attraction “The Black Panther’s Cuh” starring the queen of emotional photo-drama, Florence Reed in the greatest spectacle of her entire career, played hv the most amazing assemblage of stage and screen stars in the history of the photoplay will be. the attraction at the Princess Theatre to-night. The famous star is seen in four different roles in this big drama which is based on Charles Swimburne’s immortal poem "Fnustine.” The story of "The Black Panther’s Cuh” is woven about the underworld life ot Pan's with occasional flashes of the homes and life of the English aristocracy. "The Black Panther’s Cub” is n story of unusual proportions with a, wealth of dramatic action, scores or colorful and varied scenes, a fast moving plot and a thread of romance that terminates on one of the strongest emotional scenes ever shown on the screen. Miss Reed is seen first as ‘‘Faustina” the keeper of a notorious gambling house in Paris, second as "Faustine’s” daughter who has been reared in the refinement of a quiet English country estate, third as the pseudo "Fnustine” who returns to Paris in th» role her mother formerly held .and last as the bedraggled old hag th» original “Fnustine” who has sunk to the depths of the Parisian underworld mire. A Pathe Gazette and a two reel comedy, and new selections by the orchestra completes the hill tonight.
