The fancy dress hockey match on Cass Square between n team of men and the Ladies’ Hockey Club attracted a good attendance and was the cause of much amusement-to the onlookers and players alike, a special feature of the game was the fine defensive play of tile R‘>al for the men. whose movements \\e\o closely followed. The ladies proved the winners by four goals to throe. The takings totalled £5 10s.
