AERIAL DERBY.

{Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) * LONDON, August 7. The Aerial Derby, a double circuit of outer London, a distance of over two hundred miles was won by J. H. James in a Flying Camel, 450 horse-power whereon he won the 1921 Derby. The innchine was entered by Gloucestershire Ai'rcrnft Company. James completed fTV —the course in sixty six minutes forty eight and two-fifths seconds. R. A. Hay flying a Bristol four hundred horsepower was second. Raynham in a Marty uskls was third. A new most powerful Bristol mona plane which was being constructed amidst the utmost secrecy was not completed in time and was unpble to compete.
