Tho Cape “Times” suggests that next year’s meeting of British Dominion Premiers 1)0 held at Capetown, as the most central and convenient spot for all the Dominions; also that the meeting be opened by the Prince of Wales, who it is hoped may visit South Africa next year.

j In an explanatory statement of the pvoviisional agreement between the Union Government and Chartered Company, the Premier states the agreement provides for he taking over of all Rhodesian railways and sundry working agreements; also the acquiring of sixty five million acres of unalienated crown lands, public buildings. telegnphs and telephones. The purchase price is £6,215,000 sterling, as from the end of March 1922, with interest at five per cent to the end of March, 1924. when it is expected the conditions will he fulfilled. The agreement is provisional on Rhodesia entering the Union not later than the last named date.
