The Premier of France. M. Poineaire speaking at the unveiling of a war memorial ill the Argonne, definitely indicated France’s final attitude towards Germany and the matter of reparations. He said“lf we think of all the mourning, the ruin, and all the misery arising out of the war, we shall not have any difficulty in determining our duty. Germany was responsible for the war. She must repair the damage which she has done willingly or hv force. She shall repaii it!”
