At the Bislev Rifle Meeting the Elcho Shield was won by England with a score of 1(132. Scotland was second with 1612. The new streamline bullet was used and gave great satisfaction. It Is very pointed and tapered at the hack instead of blunt as the present service bullet, the object of the new design being flatter trajectory and greater range. The Swiss have been using the streamline bullet with great success. The United States is carrying out experiments. ft is believed the new bullet with the same elevation will give a range of over 5000 yards compared with the 3100 yards of the service bullet.
