SCHEME’OF IRRITATION

A conference of union secretaries adopted a scheme of irritation strikes and go slow, with a view to reducing tlie production, in retaliation for a roilnotion of wages, and a contemplated reversion to tlie forty-eight hour week. Detailed instructions have lieen prescribed for individual industries, such as butchers shop assistants who will he expected to notify customers of defects in goods, whilst factory hands will lie urged to refuse to adulterated various articles of food stuffs and otherwise expose trade secrets.
