The Australian Press Association learns that a prominent English group of airmen is advancing arrangements for a new world flight in the event of Blake’s failure. The party will consist of .two pilots, a first class navigator anil a special engineer. The present intention is to us a very large twin engined flying boat. The course probably will he down the coast of France, Spain, Madeira, Cape Verde, anil Is-» land of Pernambuco. Following from Spain Lite route recently flown by the Portuguese navigators across the Atlantic, thence down the east coast of South America to a point south of the River Plate, crossing Argentine to Chili over the lower Andes, then northwards to Yalnaraiso. from which a course will lie taken almost due east, touching at Juan Fernando!!, and Easter Island. The party-is requesting the Chilian Government to station a warship midway between Juan Fernandez and Easter Gland, for the purpose of refueling or in case of emergency.
