GERMAN NEWS.

UNITED SERVICE TELEGRAMS. GERMAN PLOTTERS. BERLIN, July 4. The attacks on Max Harden, the journalist, was the work of two students belonging to the same band as that which plotted Dr Rathenau’s death. One of the assailants was caught, owing to the prompt action of Harden’s daughter. While her father was lying stunned, and apparently dead, she cycled to the police station, and put detectives on tile murderer’s trail in a' few minutes. One man was found hiding in a wood and the arrest of the other is momentarily expected. The man arrested had a cross around his neck, showing he belonged to the “Consul" organisation. Harden is now conscious, and is believed to be out of danger.
