POLLARD'S PICTURES.
TO-NTGHT
Tonislit at the Princess Theatre, Pollards present Earle Williams in a thrilling exposure of the food profiteer entitled-—“lt Can he Done”—and the author proves the probability •of his own story by living it and hounding down a gang of human blood-suckers fattening on the exploiting of tlie poor. On to-morrow (Thursday) evening the big Pa the feature from the play by C. Haddon Chandlers “Passers By” starring Herbert Pawlinson is to bo presented. This story, from the pen of c. Haddon Chambers, enjoyed a most successful season in practically every English-speaking country as a stage production. It is a strong appealing story filled with individual characters we meet on the road of life, and shows them in their true colours. Herbert Pawlinson does startling work in this picture and a word of praise is due to the old butler who contributes most of the humour of the story. The human element is strongly brought out in this appealing attraction by a master craftsman.
