PRESIDENT HARDING AND STRIKE.
(Received this day at 8 a.m.) WASHINGTON, July 1. Air Harding is holding a conference with representatives of the coal strikers nnd mine operators. He urged the strikers and operators to resume mining immediately, and adjust their differences at ft joint secret conference. The President warned the parties that unless the strike soon terminated tlie Federal Government would use its entire power to force an ending. Representatives of the parties began immediate conference, Messrs Davis (Secretary of Labour), Hoover (Secretary of Commerce), anil Fall (Secretary of Interior taking part.
