This evening Pollards will screen at the Princess Theatre Nat Gould’s sensational racing drama, “A Bead Certainty.” No ony is likely to deny the fact that Nat Gould is ' the king of writers of the “Sport of Kings,” and in selecting “A Bead Certainty” for film adaptation, the Broadwest English .Company could not have chosen a story tliat was more suitable for the purpose among the author’s extensive selection. The racing atmosphere is faithfully reproduced throughout. The hero played bv Gregory Scott, is a gentleman rider who wins a fortune and the girl of his heart bv one supreme final effort in a race that will lie long remembered ns a screen triumph. Poppy Wyndhnm is in the leading feminine role and her charm is striking and attractive Not a false note is struck throughout a series of thrilling scenes and the storj is well knit, and provides a hair raising climax. Not only does ‘ A Bead Cutainty” rival its predecessor A 1 ’ tune at Stake,” hut it is held I>> u> tics to be a superior feature m eveiy way.
